Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro have been spotted in the IMEI database. Not much is known about these smartphones at the moment. However, it is expected to launch in China and globally later this year. The Chinese tech giant launched the Xiaomi 12 lineup in December last year. It is said to be working on Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which could be launched soon. According to a report by Xiaomiui, four new Xiaomi phones have appeared on the IMEI database. The model numbers 221113C and 2210132C are assumed to correspond to the Chinese models of Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, respectively. The global variants are claimed to have model numbers 22111133G and 2210132G. These smartphones can pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Xiaomi could launch these smartphones later this year around November.
Before we can see the introduction of the Xiaomi 13 lineup, the Chinese tech giant is preparing to launch the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Previous reports indicated that this smartphone could have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It could have a 6.6-inch screen and a 4860mAh battery. This smartphone may have Sony IMX989 sensor. Xiaomi also announced a collaboration with German camera manufacturer Leica. Xiaomi 12 Ultra may feature an imaging system developed by Leica and Xiaomi.
In related news, Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro have also appeared in the IMEI database. These phones are designed to fit a flexible HD+ curved screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is supposed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC. The Xiaomi 12S series is supposed to include a 50MP main camera with a new hardware-level algorithm to improve performance.
