Summer concerts on the Hudson continue with Danielle Nicole Band


Founding member, lead singer and bassist Daniel Nicole of the popular blues/rock band Trampled Under Foot released their album “Cry No More” in 2019 and earned a 2019 Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album as well as two Blues. Music Awards for Contemporary and Pacific Artist as well as multiple Blues Blast Music Awards and three independent Blues Awards.

Her band, Danielle Nicole Band, prepares for the upcoming edition of Summer Concerts in the Hudson on Wednesday, July 13, at 7 p.m. at Lincoln Harbor Park in Weehawken.

Nicole came out of her comfort zone in 2015 when she released her debut album “Wolf Den”. Her bass work also earned her the distinction of being the first woman to receive a 2014 Blues Foundation Blues Award nomination for Best Bassist. Her voice has often been compared to Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Wright, and Etta James.

Danielle Nicole’s band consists of themselves, co-founder Brandon Miller on guitar and vocals, and Go-Go Ray drummer.

All Hudson Series concerts take place in Lincoln Harbor Park, located north of the Chart House Restaurant, directly on the west bank of the Hudson River in Weehawken.

This series of free outdoor summer concerts is organized by the Hudson Riverfront Performing Arts Center, Inc. (HRPAC). Concerts are family friendly and the audience can bring a lawn chair, blankets, and food.
