A compromise offered by City Councilman James Solomon would give a school in downtown Jersey exclusive use of the city’s stadium for large portions of the school day, but the neighborhood association is not willing to agree.

Paulus Hook Park, a pocket playground at the corner of Grand and Washington Streets and adjacent to 16th Cornelia Bradford School, has been the center of a tug of war between the Paulus Hook Historical Society (HPHA) and the school’s 16 Parents since it was renovated last year.
