Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro May Ditch the Rotating Bezels: Report

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro may not get the iconic rotating bezels previously seen on Galaxy Watch 4 Classic models, according to a guide. Earlier it was also reported that the smartwatch will skip the classic model. Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 4 series in August along with the company’s two foldable phones. Although Samsung has not announced the smartwatch yet, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is expected to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor and will be launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in August or September.

Samsung is said to be releasing only two variants, the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

A report from the Korean Electronic Times stated that the South Korean giant was trying to install the thermometer function in the Galaxy Watch 5. Another recent report stated that according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Samsung is finding it difficult to integrate the thermometer feature due to algorithm limitations.

According to one report, Samsung may launch the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 with slightly larger batteries for the 40mm and 44mm models. The 40mm model is expected to get a 276mAh battery and the 44mm model is said to get a 397mAh battery.
