Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Variant Reportedly Launching Soon

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G variant is said to be getting ready to launch soon in Europe. The South Korean giant unveiled the Galaxy A23 4G variant in India in March. The report does not mention any other details about the smartphone such as price and specifications. However, we can speculate that 5G will not get the Snapdragon 680 SoC found in the Galaxy A23 4G variant, as this chip does not offer 5G support. As a reminder, the Galaxy A23 4G runs on Android 12.

According to a new report by the Galaxy Club, Samsung is planning to release the Galaxy A23 5G variant in European markets. However, the report does not give any confirmation regarding the exact time frame of the upcoming smartphone launch. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G could be the successor to the Samsung Galaxy A23 4G, at least in terms of cellular connectivity options.

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Specifications (Expected)

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G dual-SIM phone is said to be running Android 11 out of the box. It is said to have a 6.4-inch HD IPS LCD display. Under the hood, it may have a MediaTek Dimensity 700 (MT6833) SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

As for optics, a previous report indicates that the Samsung smartphone will have a quad rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle sensor, and two 2MP depth and macro sensors. For selfies, you might get a 13MP sensor. The report also mentioned that the camera in the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G will have features such as digital zoom, auto flash, face detection and touch to focus.

Samsung Galaxy A23 4G debuts in India with a starting price of Rs. 19,499. The smartphone features a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display and runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1, as mentioned above.
