The Powerball jackpot for the lottery raffle soared Wednesday to an estimated $312 million, with a cash option of $175.1 million.
The drawing will take place at 10:59 p.m. Wednesday and will be broadcast on WABC-7 in New York and Fox 29 in Philadelphia. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers immediately after the drawing is over.
No one across the country won the $296.7 million jackpot on Monday. There was also no second prize, with $1 million in tickets sold.
In New Jersey, no one won more than $200 on a single ticket.
Monday’s winning numbers were: 3, 44, 61, 63 And the 69. Arsenal have been withdrawn 13 with the power of play 2x.
Plus, no one made it to high school, which withdrew $10 million following the major drawing on Monday. The winning numbers were:4, 26, 27, 43And the 56. The double force ball is leveled 18.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. The player who buys a $2 ticket has a 1 in 11,688,053 chance of matching five numbers and winning at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 of winning the jackpot. Third of at least $50,000.
Powerball is played Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays in 45 states, plus Washington, D.C., the US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
The New Jersey Lottery offices in Lawrence are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. if players prefer to leave claims and validate winning tickets in person. Claims can be left in a safe deposit box at the lottery headquarters. This option applies to prizes over $599.50.
If a player wins a prize of $25,000 or more (or feels more comfortable making claims in person), appointments can be made to meet with lottery representatives in person by calling 1-800-222-0996.
