One of the state’s leading recycling companies has given the green light to rebuild in Passaic at the scene of a devastating two-day fire in January of 2021 on the city’s east side.

Atlantic Coast Fibers has received approval from the Passaic Planning Board to build an 118,000-square-foot warehouse at its 7th Avenue plant. The company expects the new warehouse and equipment to be operational by the fall of 2023.
