Fire TV update removed developer options from the menu

The Amazon software update for Fire TV devices removed the Developer Options button, which was below the About button in the Settings menu. The button allows you to enable ADB debugging, so that the user connects to the Fire TV from a computer, as well as enables installation of applications from unknown sources for sideloading APKs. Fortunately, as AFTVNews pointed out, the developer options were just hidden and can be easily restored.

The default setting for Android phones and tablets is to hide the Developer Options button, this also applies to Android TV and Google TV. On most Android devices, the user needs to tap multiple times on the build version of the system to reveal this options button.
