Chicago Cubs player Frank Schwendel is on his way to recovery.

according to tweet By MLB’s Jordan Bastian Schwendel will likely begin his rehab period on Friday with the Iowa Cubs.

Schwendel, who attended Livingston High School, is listed among those with lower back strain. Per MLB.com:

Schiwndel made his MLB debut in 2019 with the Kansas City Royals, going 1 for 15 in six matches.

The Royals released Schwindel in May of 2019, and he was signed three weeks later by the Detroit Tigers.

After the 2020 season, Schwendel signed a free agent with the Oakland Athletics, making his first major league game on June 30, 2021.

Less than three weeks later, the Schwendel Cubs demanded that Schwindell be relieved of the concessions from A.
