BSNL Rs. 2,399 Prepaid Recharge Plan Now Offering 60 Days of Additional Validity


Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) recently introduced an extended validity of prepaid annual recharges. Previously offering a year – or 365 days – service including data, calls and SMS, recharging will now give users an additional 60 days of validity. The telecom service provider regularly provides users with the ability to earn extra days on selected recharges. The offer is valid until the end of June, and customers who have recently taken advantage of the prepaid recharge option will also be eligible for the extended validity period offered by BSNL.

According to the details listed on the BSNL website, Rs. The 2,399 recharge plan, which previously offered a validity of 365 days, will now give users access to data, messages and calling benefits for 425 days. The recharge plan was initially reported by TelecomTalk, and can be availed by customers who have recharged with the annual plan between April 1 and June 29.

As part of the recharge plan, customers will have access to unlimited local voice and STD calls at home, local service area and national roaming including MTNL network in Mumbai and Delhi. It also gives up to 2GB/day of high-speed data access, after which the speed drops to 40kbps. Users can also send up to 100 text messages per day. BSNL has temporarily updated Rs. 2,399 plans with an additional 90 days of validity (up to 455 days) in January.

In addition to calling and data advantages, Rs. The 2399 BSNL Recharge Plan comes with access to Personal Ringtone (PRBT) with an unlimited song change option for 30 days, as well as access to Eros Now entertainment for 30 days.

As previously reported, BSNL is still rolling out its 4G network in the country. The process is expected to be completed by the end of 2022, which is when the carrier will upgrade the user experience to 4G. Meanwhile, the government expects to start rolling out commercial 5G services to other telecom providers in the country by August-September this year.
