Sixteen teams compete in the country’s largest football competition where, in the home and away matches, fans will be able to follow the matches of the FIFA World Cup 2022 on Amazon Prime, Red Globo, among other platforms. But how to subscribe to Amazon Prime? How does broadcast work?
How to watch Copa do Brasil 2022 on Amazon Prime Video
As a cool novelty of the season, Amazon Prime Video has acquired the rights to broadcast the Copa do Brasil, thus, up to two clashes will appear in the Copa do Brasil 2022 week on Amazon Prime.
For those who aren’t familiar with it, Amazon Prime Video is a subscription video service, available on the website (www.primevideo.com) and in the app. But how do I sign up for the platform?
First, the fan has to go to the website (www.primevideo.com) and click on “Try 30 days free” written in white and blue in the middle of the screen. Once you select the option, you must create your Amazon account with your name, email, and password.
Once the account is created, the viewer will have the option to enjoy the platform for 30 days for free. Next, you have to choose which plan you want to choose. Prime Video has a yearly option, where fans pay R$119 (or R$9.92 per month) or R$14.90 per month, if you prefer.
Where will the 2022 Brazil Cup be held?
In addition to Amazon Prime, fans can watch the 2022 Copa do Brasil games through TV Globo, SporTV and Premiere, as well as through the Globo Play and Premiere streaming apps.
On Open TV, Globo is responsible for showing up to two free matches always on Wednesdays for all Brazilian states. Just set the TV on to the station and follow the feelings of Copa do Brasil.
If you prefer, you can also watch via closed TV between SporTV and Premiere channels. However, the opportunity is given only to subscribers of operators who provide both terminals.
If you are a fan who loves to watch online, just enter Premiere, Globo Play or even Amazon Prime Video platforms. You must be a subscriber to all of them to have full access.
Unfortunately for the fans, the only way to watch the Brazil Cup for free is through open TV, following the broadcaster’s schedule. If your favorite team’s game isn’t on Globo, you should go after it and follow the other options.
