Asus presents to Brazil the new Zenbook with an OLED screen, with prices ranging from 5 thousand reais to 27 thousand reais

Last Wednesday (22), Asus announced the update of its line of Zenbook laptops in Brazil. The Taiwanese brand has brought models with an OLED screen and up to 12th generation Intel Core processors, with the Zenbook 13, 14 X, 14 X Space Edition and also the dual screen Pro Duo 15. In addition, the ProArt Studiobook 16 offers brute force and some select features. For those who edit videos and photos.

Starting with the base model, the Zenbook 13 is also the smaller ratio option for those looking for power and portability at a higher level. It has, as expected, a 13-inch screen and inside it can bring a 10th or 11th generation Intel Core i5 processor, the second of which is already in the EVO model.

The laptop uses 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a 256GB SSD in PCIe 3.0 connectivity and actually comes with two USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports, with the EVO version 4 coming in. In both cases, Power Delivery is supported.

The battery is 67 watts and the notebook weighs only 1.14 kg, and is 1.39 cm thick. The Zenbook 13 is now available in Brazil for R$5,000 in cash, but only for the model with a 10th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, while the second variant arrives here in August.

Zenbook 14X OLED

Going even higher in the playlist, the Zenbook 14X has a larger screen and also provides more power for work (or even simpler gameplay). The screen size is 14 inches and the processor is now a 12th generation Intel Core i7, accompanied by 16 GB of LPPDR5 RAM and this model is already starting at 512 GB SSD, and can be configured with up to 1 TB and read speed or write growth at the expense of a port PCIe 4.0.

In addition to the more powerful hardware, the Zenbook 14X comes with a fingerprint reader on the power button and the trackpad turns the numeric keypad with virtual keys. In this model, the battery is smaller, at 63 Wh and the weight increases to 1.3 kg, which also increases its thickness.

Asus hasn’t revealed the launch price, but it has secured this Zenbook in Brazil starting next month.

In an intermediate space of the launch window, the Zenbook 14X Space Edition is essentially the previous model, but with a definite finish and details to commemorate the presence of Asus laptops on space missions.

The device is the same Zenbook 14X, with the same ports and thickness, but the weight comes in at 1.4kg. In addition to the futuristic look, Asus has included a secondary screen on the screen lid to insert messages or emojis. Unlike the previous version, this notebook is already available in Brazil and the launch price is set at 13,500 BRL – also for cash.

Zenbook Pro Duo 15 OLED

If you want the highest possible performance during your Zenbook revamp, the Zenbook Pro Duo 15 might be interesting. It forgoes small size or lightness and is betting big on a 15-inch screen, with a secondary screen just under 14 inches – that’s an IPS LCD, not an OLED.

The processor is a 12th generation Intel Core i9, accompanied by 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of SSD. To give all the extra power, the graphics card is no longer integrated and uses an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, which is enough even for heavy, current games. Since the notebook has grown significantly in size here, the battery now has more room and has grown to 92Wh.

Zenbook Pro Duo 15 is complete, powerful, and expensive. It’s already available in Brazil at a suggested price of R$27,000.

ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED

After jumping on this week’s only release outside of Zenbooks, Asus has brought out the ProArt Studiobook 16. The laptop is less powerful, but still powerful and turning the masses into content creators. It has a 16-inch screen and the resolution goes up to 4K.

In the processor, the user receives the eleventh generation Intel Core i7, accompanied by 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB in the SSD. Still, the GeForce RTX 3060 GPU and to please the creators, Asus has inserted a small dial under the keyboard that can serve as a shortcut to a number of tools in programs such as video or photo editors.

The weight of this notebook is not an important detail, as it comes with a weight of 2.4 kg and a thickness of up to 2.4 cm. ProArt Studiobook 16 is now available in Brazil, with a suggested price of R$24,500.
